Vision Week 2024 | Launch
WELCOME
Welcome to Vision Week’s Reading Plan! This reading plan is designed to partner with Compassion Christian Church’s sermon series of the same name, which you can find information about right here.
Our Compassion Family takes this week each year to do two things. First, we take a moment to reflect on the past year, the positive wins - lives changed by Jesus - and the heartbreak - multiple hurricane damages in our area. By reflecting we are able to see the evidence of God’s blessings and goodness in both the good and difficult things. Second, we look ahead into what could come next year. Our leadership gives us the opportunity to see what they have been praying over in regards to plans for next year. God orders our steps, and He listens to our prayers. It is why our elders, deacons, and staff pray and fast for what is to come in our church, low country, nation, and around the world.
This week's reading plan will take a look at Hebrews 12, which Marcus preached on. Then Hebrews 11 which focuses on some of the known and unknown Old Testament heroes of the faith. From that list, we will take a look at three of those lesser known heroes.
Before We Start
God has many characteristics and one of the most common is He is a God of Compassion.Take a moment to hear from the Bible Project’s word study on Compassion.
Looking Ahead
Monday, November 25 - Hebrews 12
Tuesday, November 26 - Hebrew 11
Wednesday, November 27 - Judges 4
Thursday, November 28 - 2 Kings 4:8-37
Friday, November 29 - 2 Kings 20
