What compassion is all about

If God could take a little brick building on Tibet Ave in 1964, and make it into what Compassion Christian Church is today—what could He do through you?

Over the years, we've seen an expansion that covers seven campuses, a multi-racial, multi-generational congregation, and a church that has made it its mission to lead people to Jesus not just here in the low country, but all across the world.

Cam Huxford has been the Senior Pastor at Compassion Christian Church for over 39 years, leading it from a few hundred people to more than 10,000, meeting in 7 locations.
Cam studied at Point University and Emmanuel School of Religion. He serves on the Board of Directors of Point University. Cam speaks nationally and internationally for Ministers’ Conferences, Church Leadership, Growth Conferences, Marriage Seminars and Men’s Retreats. He and his wife, Sarah, have three sons, who are all involved in ministry, three daughter-in-laws, and twelve grandchildren.
