Compassion Christian Church
Team Assumptions
As believers and Staff Members of Compassion Christian Church, we recognize that our witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ compels us to pursue holiness in every area of life, especially the workplace. As Christian workers, we have the awesome responsibility of modeling the abundant Christian life before our congregation, the community, and one another, recognizing that as leaders, we are not the exception; we are the example.
Therefore, all Staff Members are expected to adhere to the following Team Assumptions:

We will always reflect the highest moral standards in our sexual expression. (Ephesians 5:3). This means sexual contact is appropriate only within the bounds of the husband – wife relationship. Any other form of sexual contact, including homosexual behavior, would be viewed as a breach of this code of conduct (Galatians 5: 19-21; Romans 1:26-27). To avoid even the appearance of impropriety, we ask that, except in the event an emergency, married staff members should avoid dining or traveling alone with members of the opposite sex who are not family members.
