Your Move | Sharing Your Faith with Your Friends
What does it look like to move beyond passive faith into active evangelism and share the gospel with those around us?
At its heart is the story from Mark 5 of a demon-possessed man who encountered Jesus and experienced complete transformation. Rather than allowing him to become a follower on the road, Jesus gave him a specific mission: stay in your community where everyone knows your past and tell them what I did for you. This becomes our model for evangelism—we don't need theological degrees or perfect knowledge, we simply need to be witnesses to what Christ has done in our lives.
Sharing the gospel sharing takes three practical steps: connect with people through intentional love and kindness, share your personal story of transformation, and present the good news. What makes this approach so compelling is its accessibility. The truth here is that the gospel has its own power—we can stumble through our presentation, forget parts, or feel inadequate, yet God's Spirit works through our availability.
When we realize that every believer today exists because someone cared enough to share the gospel with them, it becomes clear that we have both a privilege and responsibility to continue that chain of grace.
