All applications must be submitted no later than 120 days before departure for international trips and 90 days before domestic trips. Please note, applying for a GO Team does not confirm your spot on the team. Once applications are reviewed, you may be requested to participate in an informal interview with a Team Leader. Following review, you will be notified of your acceptance or status on a waiting list. If a team is full you can still apply and be put on a waiting list should a spot become available. Once your application is accepted for any team you will be required to pay a deposit ($100 for international and $25 for domestic teams). The deposit will confirm your spot on the team.
CMF - Partner
The Weeks family was sent from Compassion to Ethiopia through CMF, Christian Missionary Fellowship.
The Weeks family has been serving in Ethiopia since 2013 with Christian Missionary Fellowship’s team of church planters. Travis and Emily serve with the CMF church-planting team in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, that partners with the Kristos Andinet churches (KAC) among the Oromo and Gumuz people.
Their focus is two-fold: To partner with and support Ethiopian evangelists as they plant new churches in unreached areas of Ethiopia and to cultivate strong leadership for the KAC churches through biblical and theological trainings. Travis has developed a multi-tiered curriculum for our KAC leaders to work through at the CMF Training Center.
Aaron Weeks also serves with CMF in Ethiopia. The two brothers, Travis and Aaron, are joined in ministry to serve the local community by building up leaders and equipping them for the work. Aaron and Morganne serve with the Church Catalyst team in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, which partners with the Kristos Andinet Church (KAC) to plant churches in unreached areas and to train up leaders within the existing partner churches.
Aaron’s main focus on the team is to oversee Regional Trainings and teach in the area of Leadership while also providing administrative oversight of the team’s Clean Water Well projects. Morganne assists in the health office for the international Christian school where their children attend.
