Below we've laid out some frequently asked questions and information all about Compassion Summer Camps!

Kids Camp FAQs

Kids Camp is June 5-9 for all rising 1 st – 5 th graders.

What will a typical day look like?
Kids can expect exciting times with their friends and counselors as they experience crazy games, fun activities, great messages, awesome music, and relationship building small group time.

Is there a dress code?
Kids will need to wear comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes or sandals with a heel strap since there will be lots of games and activities where they will be running and playing. For water activities, girls should wear 1-piece swim suits or tankinis that cover their mid- section.

Do I need to arrange my own transportation during the week?

Yes. Transportation will not be provided by the church.

Do I have to pay the full price to register?
Yes. The $50 fee is due at registration.

Is financial assistance available?
Due to the low cost of Compassion Kids Camp, scholarships are not included in the registration process. If you need financial assistance contact your campus Kids Pastor.

Are registration fees refundable?
Fees for Kids camp are refundable if cancellation is received by May 1st.

What does the cost of camp include?
The cost includes a t-shirt, water bottle, all activities and a snack each day.

Which meals are included?
Snacks are included. Kids and leaders will bring their own lunch.

Can you accommodate food allergies…?
Kids Camp will be a nut-free zone. We ask that kids do not pack anything with nuts in their lunch. We will also be serving nut-free snacks. Parents of kids with food allergies and dietary restrictions will be contacted by a camp representative to determine whether they will need to bring their own snacks.

Students Camp FAQs

High School Camp is June 12-17 for all rising 9th– 12th graders
Middle School Camp is June 26-30 for all rising 6th– 8th graders

What will a typical day look like?
Students can expect exciting times with their friends and counselors as they experience a week full of games, fun activities, great messages, high energy worship, and relationship building small group time.

Is there a dress code?
Students will need to wear comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes or sandals with a heel strap since there will be lots of games and activities where they will be active.
For water activities, girls should wear 1-piece swim suits or tankinis that cover their mid-section, and boys will need to wear a shirt unless actively in the pool. We kindly ask that no spaghetti straps be worn, shorts should reach finger-tip length, and we ask that boys not wear tank tops.

Do I need to arrange my own transportation during the week?
Students will need to be dropped off and picked up at the Henderson campus on the first and last day of camp. From the Henderson campus, students will take Kelly Tour buses to their respective camps.

Do I have to pay the full price to register?
No. The $50 registration fee is due at registration. Then we ask that the remainder of the balance be paid before May 22

Is financial assistance available?
Yes. Please fill out our financial assistant form. To ensure your students spot for camp, we ask that you go ahead and register your student and pay the registration fee.

What does the cost of camp include?
The cost includes transportation, camp facilities, all activities, games, and materials given to students.

Which meals are included?
High School Camp, dinner on Monday June 12, breakfast, lunch and dinner on June 13-16, and breakfast and lunch on June 17. We ask that students bring a sack lunch for Monday June 12, we will stop half way to enjoy our picnic sack lunches.
 
Middle School Camp dinner on Monday June 26, breakfast, lunch and dinner on June 27-29, and breakfast and lunch on June 30. We ask that students bring a sack lunch for Monday June 26, we will stop half way to enjoy our picnic sack lunches.

Can you accommodate food allergies…?
Yes, accommodations can be made. Please include your student’s allergies and dietary restrictions when completing camp registration.
