TUESDAY | DEVOTED - WORSHIP WEEK 1

Tuesday | Preparing for Worship - Removing Spiritual Clutter
Worship Week 1
Tuesday, November 11, 2025
Reading For Tuesday | 1 John 1:9
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9
Sin hardens the heart and dulls our sensitivity to God. Before worship, we must come honestly before the Lord, confessing what weighs on our conscience and allowing His grace to cleanse us. Confession isn’t about shame—it’s about restoration. It’s bringing our failures, idols, and pride before the Lord so that nothing stands in the way of our worshipping him wholeheartedly. When we confess our sins and receive His mercy, our hearts are free to respond in genuine worship.

Journaling
Today, reflect on any attitudes, thoughts, or actions you must confess.
- What is weighing you down?
- What has caused any separation between you and others? Separation between you and God?
- Take a few minutes to bring them before our merciful Lord and ask for His forgiveness.
