SHIFTED

FRIDAY, APRIL 11
READING: MATTHEW 5-7
We’ve said it many times before: these teachings are not easy. They require a perspective shift and intentional effort. Jesus moves beyond external behaviors to address the core of our hearts, minds, and motivations. Jesus invites us to reject the patterns of the world and embrace the Kingdom of God here and now. But the question is: what will you do with it? Will you let these words be a turning point in your life or will you just move on to the next thing? Has your perspective shifted?
We want you to reflect on all God has done in and through you using His Word over these last 15 weeks. You have a choice to keep living out these words day by day. May you be empowered by His Spirit to continue walking with Him in obedience as a true disciple.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS
- How has my understanding of the Kingdom of Heaven evolved over the course of this series? What new insights has the Lord revealed to me? What lies about the kingdoms of this world have been revealed?
- In what areas of my life is God inviting me to experience more of His Kingdom and what obstacles must I overcome to live in that truth?
- Have I changed in the last 15 weeks? If so, in what ways? If not, what is holding me back?
PRAY
Ask the Lord to continue to give you His Kingdom perspective, to encourage you, strengthen you and guide you as you surrender the keys to your kingdom so you can more fully embrace the good life He offers.
