CORRECT MY THOUGHTS & ACTIONS

Yesterday might have brought up some uncomfortable topics or feelings. Often, spending time being vulnerable before anyone, and especially a perfect and holy God, can feel scary. But the beautiful part is that when He meets us in our mess, He will never leave us there. There is always, always, ALWAYS a next step that is available to you.

Let's return to the doctor’s office analogy for a second. Today, we are getting our diagnosis and prescription. But often when we find out what is actually wrong with us, there is a deep desire to change. Once we can truly see the sickness and sin infecting our lives and relationships, there is something planted inside of us that aches to be well. But how do we do that? Let’s consult the Great Physician.

KNOCK | PRAY | JOURNAL

  • How would you have me seek forgiveness from the person I have been condemning when I should have been loving them?
  • What is the next step I need to take towards personal healing with the plank in my eye?
  • Once I have dealt with the plank in my eye, how do I lovingly let someone know they have sawdust in their eye?
  • How do I practically put into place guardrails that keep me from my own self righteousness and guide me back to loving others like You have loved me?
