ASK.

TUESDAY, MARCH 18
READING: MATTHEW 7:1-12
EXAMINE MY HEART
“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.”
Matthew 7:6:7-7 NLT
Today we are going to ask our Father to examine us. He already sees us, that is true. But there is something so special about the act of us ASKING Him to examine us. That we give Him full permission to enter into our lives and then show us where He would have us go. We all have blind spots and there are areas in which only He can see.
Talk to God today about your willingness to be corrected. And if you’re not willing to be corrected, then ask Him to remind you of just how much He loves you. How He has pursued you and wants only what is best for you. It is His kindness that leads us to repentance. (Romans 2:4)

A FEW QUESTIONS
- What areas of my life have I chosen to keep secret or hold on my own because I feel like I’m doing okay on my own?
- What situation am I holding on tightly to that I need to approach with open hands and an open heart?
- Where am I sacrificing the opportunity to show your love on the altar or my own righteous ideals?
