Faith Promise - What's Next - Day 04
Outreach Partners
Seeds of Hope (Palestine) & Jesus Disciple Ministries for Nation (Pakistan)
Highlight
At our East Campus this week we got to hear from Khader Ghanim, the Executive Director of Seeds of Hope in Jericho, Palestine. While the Holy Land is often in the news, we rarely hear of the work of Palestinian Christians and Messianic Jews. In the land where Jesus himself walked there are so few who follow him today. Seeds of Hope uses education, micro-enterprise, and community outreach to bring light into the darkness of Palestinian refugee camps and surrounding Muslim communities. In the midst of war they are partnering with other Christians in Israel and Gaza to bring aid and spiritual care to those who are suffering.
Yousaf Bhatti, leader of the Jesus Disciple Ministries for the Nation of Pakistan, spoke at our Effingham Campus this week. Over 96% of Pakistanis practice Islam. Christians are not just a minority, it is dangerous to profess faith in Christ. Yousaf and his team put themselves and their families at risk to bring the Gospel message to communities throughout their country. They train evangelists, plant churches, courageously hold evangelical gatherings with thousands of believers, and rescue Christian families out of indentured labor. JDMN is bravely proclaiming the freedom and restoration of Jesus in the midst of great opposition.

Reflection & Prayer
- Pray for Khader and Stevie Ghanim and their five children. Pray for their protection as they minister in the West Bank and courageously serve and love their Muslim and Jewish neighbors.
- Pray that in the midst of great suffering the hope of Christ would draw those far from him in both Palestine and Israel. Pray for the followers of Jesus in the West Bank, Gaza and Israel. Pray that they would bring the presence of the Prince of Peace into their communities.
- Pray for Yousaf and Anna Bhatti and their three children. Pray for their protection as they minister to their neighbors in Pakistan. Pray that they and their team would have courage and perseverance in the face of persecution.
- Pray for the unreached people that JDMN is serving. Pray that they would have ears to hear and eyes to see the good news of Jesus and that the Holy Spirit would do a great work in Pakistan.
