Legacy and Mentorship
As we close out this week we have looked at the importance of remaining focused on Jesus while also being conscious of those around us.
This extends into today as we look at what it means for those younger than us. The Psalmist is telling us that we should always be proclaiming what God has done so that the next generation would know. This faith story can then compound generation to generation as God continues to engage with us.
Speaking of how God has blessed us is also a way to help guide the next generation from being distracted by what was or was not. Passing down the accumulated wisdom, tested faith and witnessed miracles are how we can help guard the younger ones against the discontentment found in the comparison game culture is begging to be played.
