This Week's Focus:
As part of the Church, we have a responsibility to further Jesus' mission to seek and save the lost. Everyone who believes in Him has a part to play in this and it is often not as complicated as we make it out to be.

Scripture

Scripture Helps Us Hear God And Live His Truth.
"Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20 NLT

Go and Tell

As we dive into this week, we first lean into the Great Commission Jesus gave the Disciples. We often hear, in these two verses, an exhortation to go into the mission field or to join teams to help. But today, let's pause, sit with this a moment, and consider what it means for you and me.

All of us are called to make disciples. Some believers engage the mission field, but not all Christians are designed by God to go. Some are meant to stay and make an impact right where they are as teachers, doctors, engineers, and scientists.

Regardless of our vocation, God intends for us to share His Gospel everywhere. For gospel means "good news!" and what better news could possibly be shared than the saving work of Christ?

God's love for each and every one of us is absolutely unfathomable. It's not limited to the people who look like us, sound like us, or even just the people we like. It is for everyone. Even those who do not know him yet, he may be urging you to bring that one person you know to Him. That they may experience his love, mercy, grace, and kindness.

Reflection

Reflection Helps Us Pause, Listen, And Let God Speak To Our Hearts.
  • Have I been ignoring the Great Commission right where I am?
  • What relationships do I have right now that need the Gospel of Christ?
  • What would change if I followed the Spirit's leading and prayed with a coworker or neighbor?

Journaling Prompts

This Is A Safe Place To Be Honest With God
  • What opportunities to share my faith have I missed recently? What can I learn from those moments?
  • Ask God to reveal a relationship that needs to be restored or strengthened by the Gospel, and write what comes to mind.
  • Describe what life looks like since coming to faith in Jesus. What would I want someone else to experience that I have?

Weekly Memory Verse

Read It Once A Day. Let It Shape How You Think And Pray This Week.
"Live wisely among those who are not believers, and make the most of every opportunity." Colossians 4: 5 NLT

Prayer

Through Prayer, We Talk To God And Listen For His Guidance.
Lord, open my eyes to see those around me as you see them. Help me to love them as you love them, that they may see you through me. Help me to have the courage to speak boldly of your saving grace in every opportunity. Amen.

Come Back Tomorrow

Join us tomorrow as we explore how precious repentance can be as we are told of the celebration that takes place when just one sinner turns to Christ.
