The Best Things In Life | Saturday

Saturday | June 13

Focus of the Week:
Tithing is a discipline, but generosity is a mindset. God isn’t just teaching us how to give, He’s transforming how we think. As we shift from a scarcity mindset to an abundance mindset, we begin to trust that God is not only enough, but more than enough. This is where generosity becomes a natural overflow, not an obligation.

Scripture

Scripture Helps Us Hear God And Live His Truth.
24Give freely and become more wealthy; be stingy and lose everything.
25The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.

Proverbs 11:24-25 (NLT)

Living a Generous Life

Generosity was never meant to be occasional. It was meant to be a way of life.

As we’ve walked through this week, something has been building:
Guarding the heart
Learning contentment
Trusting God as our source
Releasing what we’ve been given
Discovering the joy of giving

And now we see the result:
A life that overflows.

Not because we have unlimited resources, but because we trust an unlimited God.
When we live generously, we don’t run dry.
God continues to refresh us.
He continues to provide.
He continues to work through us.

A generous life is a full life.
A purposeful life.
A life that reflects the heart of God.
And it starts with small, intentional steps.

Reflection

Reflection Helps Us Pause, Listen, And Let God Speak To Our Hearts.
  • What has God been showing me about generosity this week?
  • Where have I seen a shift in my mindset?
  • What is one way I can continue living this out?

Journaling Prompts

This Is A Safe Place To Be Honest With God
Let your journal become a conversation with Him. Write what you sense, what you hope for, what scares you, and what excites you. God meets you in the honesty.
  • Write about how your perspective has changed this week.
  • Ask God to help you continue growing in generosity.
  • Describe what a life of overflow looks like for you.

Worship

Worship Gently Draws Our Hearts Closer To God, Deepening Our Daily Time Of Prayer And Reflection.
Reminds you that God’s presence is what truly fills and refreshes you as you pour out into others.

Captures the heart of living generously—what God pours into you is meant to overflow into the lives of others.

Weekly Memory Verse

Read It Once A Day. Let It Shape How You Think And Pray This Week.
And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.

2 Corinthians 9:8 (NLT)

Prayer

Through Prayer, We Talk To God And Listen For His Guidance.
God, thank You for all You’ve taught me this week. Help me to live a life that reflects Your generosity. Continue to grow my trust in You and lead me to live open-handed every day. Amen.

Come Back Next Week

Take time to reflect on everything God has done this week and how you can continue walking in trust, contentment, and generosity.
