The Best Things In Life | Saturday

Saturday | June 06
Focus of the Week:
Tithing is not about God getting something from us, but God doing something in us. As we learn to honor God first with what we’ve been given, we begin to grow in trust, loosen our grip on fear, and experience the freedom that comes from living open-handed.

Scripture
Scripture Helps Us Hear God And Live His Truth.
7 You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”
2 Corinthians 9:7 (NLT)

Living Open-Handed
Tithing is the starting point, not the finish line.
As trust grows, generosity begins to flow naturally. It shifts from something we feel obligated to do into something we desire to do.
Because generosity isn’t about pressure. It’s about transformation.
When we truly believe God is our provider, we stop holding everything so tightly. We begin to live open-handed, willing to give, willing to bless, willing to trust that there is always more where that came from.
A generous life isn’t built on having extra. It’s built on trusting God fully.
And the more we trust Him, the more joy we find in giving.
