Getting Ready For The Week
Focus of the Week:
True freedom isn’t found in having more, it’s found in trusting God as our provider and learning to live with contentment, generosity, and wisdom. When we release the grip that money, comparison, and fear can have on our hearts, we make room to experience the kind of peace only God can give.

Getting Started This Week
This week, we begin by shifting our perspective.
In a world that constantly tells us we need more, more money, more success, more security. Jesus gently warns us to be on guard. Not because money is evil, but because our hearts can so easily attach to it. Comparison creeps in. Fear of not having enough grows. And before we know it, our peace is tied to what we have, or don’t have.
But Scripture invites us into a different way of living.
Paul reminds us that contentment is great wealth. Not because we settle, but because we trust.
Trust that God knows our needs.
Trust that He provides.
Trust that our security isn’t found in what we accumulate, but in who He is.
This kind of freedom doesn’t ignore real financial pressures, but it refuses to let them define us.
When we place our hope in God instead of money, something shifts:
And we start to live open-handed instead of tight-fisted.
This is where freedom begins.
Let this be the starting point:
Ask God to reveal where your trust may be misplaced, and invite Him to reshape your perspective this week.

Reflection
Reflection Helps Us Pause, Listen, And Let God Speak To Our Hearts.
- Where do I currently look for security or peace, God, or my financial situation and resources?
- In what ways have comparison or the desire for “more” been influencing my thoughts, emotions, or decisions lately?
- What would it look like for me this week to truly believe that contentment in God is enough?
