This Week's Focus: Encountering God transforms us. Moses’ face shone after spending time with God, a visible reflection of His glory. Our time with God shapes how we think, respond, and interact with the world. Transformation often starts internally before it becomes visible externally.
God invites us to spend time in His presence, not for show, but for inner renewal. When we behold Him daily, our hearts are changed, our perspectives shift, and even our actions reflect His character.

Scripture
Scripture Helps Us Hear God And Live His Truth.
When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the covenant law in his hands, he was not aware that his face was radiant because he had spoken with the Lord.

Reflected Glory
In Exodus 34:29–35, Moses comes down from Mount Sinai after meeting with God, and something is different. His face is shining. Not because he tried to impress anyone. Not because he worked harder or did something extraordinary on his own. It simply happened because he had been in the presence of God.
What’s striking is that Moses didn’t even realize it at first.
There’s something deeply comforting about that. True transformation doesn’t come from striving—it comes from abiding. Moses didn’t leave the mountain with a checklist completed; he left changed because he encountered God’s glory.
And the same is true for us.
We often think transformation has to be dramatic or immediate. We look for big moments, big breakthroughs, big signs. But God often works in quiet, unseen ways. A few minutes in prayer. A passage of Scripture that lingers in your mind. A moment of stillness where your heart softens.
These are the places where God begins His work.
Over time, those small moments begin to shape us. Our thoughts shift. Our reactions soften. Our words carry more grace. And like Moses, we may not even notice the change right away, but others will.
Time with God is never wasted. Even when it feels ordinary, something sacred is happening beneath the surface.
So today, don’t underestimate the power of a few intentional minutes with Him. Whether it’s five minutes of prayer, reading His Word, or simply sitting quietly, lean in.
Because transformation doesn’t begin with what you do for God. It begins with being with Him.
And in His presence, His glory will begin to reflect through you.
Spend intentional time with God today. It might be 5 minutes of prayer, a focused reading of Scripture, or listening quietly for His voice. Transformation begins in these seemingly small moments of encountering God’s glory.
