This Week's Focus: This week, we look at the women who quietly, but powerfully, kept God’s promises alive.
Scripture
Scripture Helps Us Hear God And Live His Truth.
Faithful Risk
Moses’ mother hid him for three months, risking her life in order to protect God’s chosen deliverer. She didn’t have a complete plan, a guarantee of success, or even a clear understanding of how God’s rescue would unfold. Yet, she acted. Her courage was quiet but transformative.
Faith is rarely passive. It asks us to step into uncertainty, to take risks that stretch our trust and dependence on God. The tension she faced, between fear and obedience, was where God shaped courage, formed character, and advanced His purposes. God often works in these “shadowed” moments, when no one is watching, using ordinary acts of faith to accomplish extraordinary outcomes.
This story also points to God’s provision: Moses’ mother did not act alone. God’s hand was present every step of the way, orchestrating circumstances she couldn’t control. Just like her, we are invited into courageous trust, leaning not on our understanding but on the God who makes a way where there seems to be none.
In our own lives, God may be asking us to take small, faithful risks today, in relationships, in our work, in serving, or even in prayer. These risks may feel invisible, risky, or insignificant, but God sees them, and His power moves through our obedience. Every act of trust, even when quiet, becomes part of His story of deliverance and transformation.

Reflection
Reflection Helps Us Pause, Listen, And Let God Speak To Our Hearts.
- Where is God inviting me to trust Him even when I cannot see the outcome?
- What fears are holding me back from taking small steps of faith today?
- How does this story of quiet courage encourage me in my own ordinary, unseen acts of obedience?
Journaling Prompts
This Is A Safe Place To Be Honest With God
- Reflect on a time you stepped out in faith without knowing the result. How did God show up?
- Identify one risk of faith you can take this week, trusting God to lead.

It was by faith that Moses’ parents hid him for three months when he was born. They saw that God had given them an unusual child, and they were not afraid to disobey the king’s command.

Through Prayer, We Talk To God And Listen For His Guidance.
God, give me courage to step into the unknown, trusting You even when I cannot see the full picture. Amen.
Come Back Tomorrow
Step boldly into today’s unknown.
God is already at work in your situation, and your quiet acts of faith are part of His greater story.
Come back tomorrow to see how His faithfulness continues to unfold through those who trust Him.
