This Week's Focus: This week, we’ll learn how God’s grace meets us before expectation and invites us to trust Him in the wilderness through the hope of the Resurrection of Jesus.
Scripture
Scripture Helps Us Hear God And Live His Truth.
34Then Peter replied, “I see very clearly that God shows no favoritism. 35In every nation he accepts those who fear him and do what is right.
Acts 10:34–35 NLT
Acts 10:34–35 NLT
What Was Always True, Now Fully Seen
When Peter says these words, he is stepping into something that has always been true, but not always fully understood.
“I see very clearly…”
That clarity came through a process. Through unlearning assumptions. Through God challenging what Peter thought he knew about who belongs.
And this is where Exodus 18 connects.
Jethro was never supposed to be “inside” the story. And yet,
he recognized God. Worshiped Him. Sat at the table.
Grace was already crossing boundaries long before it was fully explained.
Acts 10 doesn’t introduce a new idea, it reveals what God had been doing all along.
God does not show favoritism.
Not culturally.
Not spiritually.
Not based on how quickly someone “gets it.”
That matters in the wilderness.
Because this is where we often disqualify ourselves.
We think:
I should be further along.
I should be more consistent.
I should have this figured out by now.
But grace was never given based on progress.
It was given because of who God is.
And the resurrection of Jesus confirms it:
access to God is not earned, it’s given.
Fully.
Freely.
For everyone.
Including you, right here in the middle of your process.

Reflection
Reflection Helps Us Pause, Listen, And Let God Speak To Our Hearts.
- Where do I feel like I don’t measure up spiritually?
- What assumptions have I made about who God’s grace is for?
- What would it look like to fully receive that grace today?
Journaling Prompts
This Is A Safe Place To Be Honest With God
- Write honestly about where you feel disqualified.
- What truth from today’s Scripture speaks into that?
- How can you begin to live from grace instead of toward it?
Worship

Prayer
Through Prayer, We Talk To God And Listen For His Guidance.
God, help me see clearly that Your grace is for me. Break down the ways I’ve limited what You freely give. Teach me to live from Your grace, not try to earn it. Amen.
Rest In God This Weekend
Take time to rest in what God has shown you this week.
