This Week's Focus: This week, we’ll learn how God meets us in seasons where we feel off track and invites us to trust Him for daily provision through the hope of the Resurrection of Jesus.
Scripture
Scripture Helps Us Hear God And Live His Truth.
32Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, Moses didn’t give you bread from heaven. My Father did. And now he offers you the true bread from heaven. 33The true bread of God is the one who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”
34“Sir,” they said, “give us that bread every day.”
35Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
John 6:32–35 NLT

Jesus, The Bread of Life
The people in the wilderness woke up each day needing manna, just enough for that moment. It was God’s way of teaching them to trust Him daily, to rely on His provision instead of their own control.
But generations later, people were still thinking about that bread. Still longing for something to fill them.
And that’s when Jesus spoke up:
“I am the bread of life…”
He was helping them see what they had missed all along, the manna in the wilderness wasn’t the destination. It was a sign pointing to Him.
God wasn’t just trying to feed His people back then.
He was preparing their hearts for a relationship that would one day be fully revealed in Jesus.
Because the deeper need was never just physical, it was always spiritual.
And honestly, not much has changed.
We still look for “manna” in different forms:
something to satisfy us, sustain us, give us peace or control. We chase what feels like enough for the moment, hoping it will last.
But it doesn’t.
That emptiness you feel sometimes? That restlessness?
It’s not something to ignore, it’s something to pay attention to.
It may be pointing you to Jesus.
Because He doesn’t just give daily provision, He is provision.
He doesn’t just meet needs, He fills what nothing else can.
And just like the Israelites had to gather manna each day, we’re invited into a daily relationship with Him. Not out of obligation, but out of dependence. Out of trust. Out of a growing awareness that He really is enough.
So today, instead of just asking God for what you need,
come to Jesus Himself.
Bring your hunger.
Bring your questions.
Bring the places that still feel empty.
And meet the One who doesn’t run out, doesn’t fade, and doesn’t leave you searching for more.
He is your daily bread.
