Easter Week | Thursday

Thursday | April 2, 2026
This Week's Focus: This week, we’ll discover how God meets us in our impossible moments and makes a way forward through the hope of the Resurrection of Jesus.
Scripture
Scripture Helps Us Hear God And Live His Truth.
21 Then Moses raised his hand over the sea, and the Lord opened up a path through the water with a strong east wind. The wind blew all that night, turning the seabed into dry land. 22 So the people of Israel walked through the middle of the sea on dry ground, with walls of water on each side!

Right Through the Middle
You Don't Have To Carry This
God didn’t remove the Red Sea, He made a way through it. The very thing that stood in the way became the path forward. What looked like an obstacle was actually the setup for a miracle.
We often pray for God to take things away, the stress, the uncertainty, the difficulty. But sometimes, instead of removing the situation, God chooses to meet us in it and lead us through it. And in that process, we experience His power in a deeper way.
Imagine what it felt like to walk between walls of water. The path was open, but it still required trust. The Israelites had to step forward into something they had never seen before, believing that God would hold it all together.
That’s the kind of faith God invites us into. Not a faith that waits for everything to feel safe and predictable, but one that trusts Him enough to move forward anyway. Because when God makes a way, it may not look comfortable, but it will always be secure.

Reflection
Reflection Helps Us Pause, Listen, And Let God Speak To Our Hearts.
- Where might God be asking me to walk through something instead of around it?
- What expectations do I have about how God should work in my situation?
- Am I willing to trust God even if the path feels unfamiliar?
Journaling Prompts
This Is A Safe Place To Be Honest With God
- Describe a current challenge. How might God be using it to grow your faith?
- Write about a time when God worked in a way you didn’t expect. What did you learn?
- What is one step forward you sense God inviting you to take right now?
Worship

Memory Verse
Read it once a day. Let it shape how you think and pray this week.
14 The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.”
Exodus 14:14 NLT

Prayer
Through Prayer, We Talk To God And Listen For His Guidance.
God, thank You for making a way even when I don’t see one. Give me the courage to trust You and step forward in faith. Amen
Come Back Tomorrow
God may be opening the way, but tomorrow we’ll see what it looks like to actually walk it out, one step at a time.
