Easter Week | Tuesday

Tuesday | March 31, 2026
This Week's Focus: This week, we’ll discover how God meets us in our impossible moments and makes a way forward through the hope of the Resurrection of Jesus.
Scripture
Scripture helps us hear God and live His truth.
10 As Pharaoh approached, the people of Israel looked up and panicked when they saw the Egyptians overtaking them… (vs. 10)
Exodus 14:10-12 NLT
Exodus 14:10-12 NLT
When Fear Feels Loud
The Israelites had seen God come through for them but now, standing at the edge of the sea with an army closing in, fear felt louder than faith. In a moment, everything shifted. What God had already done faded into the background, and all they could see was what stood in front of them.
If we’re honest, we’ve been there too. There are moments when life feels overwhelming, when the pressure builds and the unknown feels too big to handle. And in those moments, it’s easy to focus on what’s going wrong instead of remembering who God has always been.
Fear has a way of pulling us backward. It whispers that maybe things were better before, even if “before” wasn’t where God called us to stay. It tries to convince us that forward isn’t safe. God never asked us to trust the path, only to trust Him.
The good news is this: God is not intimidated by what you’re facing. He’s not caught off guard by your situation. Even when fear feels loud, His presence is closer. And what feels like the end of the road might actually be the place where He’s about to make a way.

Reflection
Reflection helps us pause, listen, and let God speak to our hearts.
- Where in your life does fear feel louder than your faith right now?
- What situation is causing you to focus more on what you see than on who God has been?
- Is there something from your past that feels safer to return to, even though God is calling you forward?
Journaling Prompts
This Is a Safe Place to Be Honest With God
- List one fear or worry you’re facing today. What would it look like to hand it over to God in prayer?
- Write about a past moment where God came through in a way you didn’t expect. How can that memory give you courage today?
- Identify one small step of trust you could take this week to move forward instead of retreating.
Worship
Worship gently draws our hearts closer to God, deepening our daily time of prayer and reflection.
A reminder that God’s past faithfulness is a promise for what He will do again.
A powerful picture of God staying with us in the middle of hard moments.
Memory Verse
Read it once a day. Let it shape how you think and pray this week.
14 The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.”
Exodus 14:14 NLT

Exodus 14:14 NLT
Prayer
Through prayer, we talk to God and listen for His guidance.
God, when fear feels loud, help me hear Your truth more clearly. Remind me that You are with me and that I can trust You.
Come Back Tomorrow
Let this sink in tonight, and tomorrow we’ll discover how God invites us to be still in the midst of the storm.
