Week 06 | Saturday

Saturday | March 21, 2026
This Week's Focus: Sometimes life feels stuck not because of circumstances, but because of unseen forces holding us back, fear, sin, unhealthy patterns or systems that feel impossible to overcome. Exodus 7-10, God confronts Pharaoh's hard heart with plagues, demonstrating that He is not passive in the face of oppression.
This week, we explore how God can confront what enslaves us today and make a way forward, even when change feels impossible.
Scripture
Scripture helps us hear God and live His truth.
Freedom and Hope
Jesus says in John 8:36, “So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.” These words are more than a promise, they’re an invitation. Jesus isn’t talking about surface-level freedom or temporary relief. He’s speaking about a deep, lasting freedom that reaches the heart and brings real hope. No matter where we find ourselves, Jesus offers a freedom that isn’t dependent on circumstances but rooted in who He is.
Many of us carry things that quietly hold us back such as fear, guilt, doubt, past mistakes, or the pressure to have it all together. They may not always be visible, but they can still shape how we live and how we see ourselves. Jesus knows this, and that’s why His freedom matters so much. He doesn’t just loosen the chains; He breaks them. And when He sets us free, nothing else gets the final say.
This kind of freedom doesn’t mean life becomes easy or struggles disappear overnight. Instead, it means we are no longer defined by what holds us down. With Jesus, freedom brings hope, the confidence that growth is possible, healing is real, and our story is still being written. Even in the middle of challenges, His presence gives us strength and peace to keep moving forward.
John 8:36 reminds us that freedom and hope go hand in hand. Jesus offers us a new way to live unburdened, restored, and full of purpose. Wherever you are today, His invitation is the same: trust Him, walk with Him, and experience the true freedom that leads to lasting hope.

Reflection
Reflection helps us pause, listen, and let God speak to our hearts.
- What are some areas where you’ve seen God bring freedom or healing, even in small or quiet ways?
- What thoughts, fears, or habits might be holding you back from fully embracing the freedom Jesus offers?
- How does knowing that Jesus sets you truly free give you hope for where God is leading you next?
Journaling Prompts
This Is a Safe Place to Be Honest With God
- Write about something you may need to release or surrender in order to walk more fully in the freedom Jesus offers. What might trusting Him with that look like?
- Describe how hope shows up in your life today. How can you lean into that hope as you continue to grow and move forward in faith?
- Reflect on what freedom in Christ means to you personally. What areas of your life feel lighter or more hopeful because of your relationship with Jesus?
Worship
Worship gently draws our hearts closer to God, deepening our daily time of prayer and reflection.
This points us to the freedom only Jesus brings, reminding us that His presence has the power to break every chain and restore hope where bondage once existed.
An encouragement to us to hold tightly to the hope and freedom Jesus offers, reminding us that even in difficult seasons, He is present, faithful, and still working in our lives.

Prayer
Through prayer, we talk to God and listen for His guidance.
Take a moment to bring anything that feels heavy, broken, or unresolved to God. Ask Him to meet you there, to remind you of the freedom He offers, and to fill your heart with hope as you trust Him today.
Hold Tight! Monday's Coming
Take time to rest, reflect, and remember that God’s presence gives you peace, hope, and strength for whatever comes next.
