Week 04 | Friday

Friday | March 06, 2026
This Week's Focus: When life feels uncertain or stuck, we often want answers, clarity, or a way out. Exodus 3, God meets Moses in the wilderness and reveals His name, "I AM."
Before God Explains What He Will Do, He Reveals Who He Is.
Scripture
Scripture helps us hear God and live His truth.
Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
John 6:35 NLT
John 6:35 NLT
Jesus Speaks the Name Again
Bread in Jesus’ time was essential, it meant survival. By calling Himself the Bread of Life, Jesus connects God’s eternal presence to the most basic human need.
Too often, we try to fill what feels empty with work, distractions, or approval from others, but none of it truly satisfies.
Jesus invites us to depend on Him daily, just as we depend on food. Dependence is not weakness, it is recognition that life’s deepest needs are met only in Him.
Verse 35 also reminds us that God’s presence is practical. Jesus doesn’t just give abstract comfort. He gives life, sustenance, and guidance.

Reflection
Reflection helps us pause, listen, and let God speak to our hearts.
- Where do I feel empty or depleted?
- How have I tried to satisfy these needs outside of Jesus?
Journaling Prompts
This Is a Safe Place to Be Honest With God
- Take a moment to reflect on where you feel hungry spiritually, emotionally, or relationally.
- What have you reached for to satisfy it, and what did it reveal to you?
Worship
Worship gently draws our hearts closer to God, deepening our daily time of prayer and reflection.
Only Jesus can fully satisfy and sustain the soul, directly reflecting His declaration that those who come to Him will never hunger or thirst spiritually
Turning to Jesus with our burdens brings spiritual satisfaction and renewal, for He alone fully sustains and nourishes the soul.

Memory Verse
Read it once a day. Let it shape how you think and pray this week.
Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
John 6:35 NLT

Prayer
Through prayer, we talk to God and listen for His guidance.
Jesus, help me stop pretending I am fine. Teach me to come to you honestly for what I truly need. Amen.
Come Back Tomorrow
Tomorrow we will see how Jesus provides light for the next step, showing us how to trust Him even when the path is uncertain.
