This Week's Focus: Trusting God with the parts of our story we wouldn’t choose

Scripture

Scripture helps us hear God and live His truth.
Moses accepted the invitation, and he settled there with him. In time, Reuel gave Moses his daughter Zipporah to be his wife.
Exodus 2:21 NLT

God Is Patient With the Process

Before Moses led a nation, he spent years living a quiet life in Midian. What may have felt like a delay was actually preparation.

God often uses slower seasons to shape our character and deepen our trust. Even when life feels ordinary or unnoticed, God is still at work.

If your journey feels slower than you expected, take heart. God is patient with the process, and He’s patient with you.

Reflection

Reflection helps us pause, listen, and let God speak to our hearts.
  • Where does life feel slower than you’d like right now?
  • How might God be using this season to prepare you?

Journaling Prompts

This Is a Safe Place to Be Honest With God
  • What has God taught you during quieter seasons?
  • How can you practice trusting God’s timing this week?

Worship

Worship gently draws our hearts closer to God, deepening our daily time of prayer and reflection.
Highlights the importance of patiently trusting God’s timing and purpose, even in unexpected or unwanted seasons of life, believing He is still shaping our story for good.

Memory Verse

Read it once a day. Let it shape how you think and pray this week.

“God heard their groaning, and He remembered His covenant promise to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”
Exodus 2:24 NLT

Prayer

Through prayer, we talk to God and listen for His guidance.
God, help me trust You in the process. Teach me patience and remind me that You are always at work, even when progress feels slow. Amen.

This Week's Reminder

God is still at work in your story, even in the waiting, even in the uncertainty.
