Getting Started This Week | Week 02

February 16 - February 21, 2026

God Is Still Working Through Our Stories

This Week's Focus: Trusting God with the parts of our story we wouldn’t choose
Most of us have moments in our story that didn’t turn out the way we hoped. Plans changed. People let us down. Opportunities slipped away. The story of Exodus reminds us that God is still at work in those places.

This week, we’ll look at the lives of Joseph and Moses, two people whose journeys included hardship, uncertainty, and long seasons of waiting. Neither story unfolded quickly or easily, yet God was faithfully working through every chapter.

As you walk through this week’s devotionals, take time to reflect on your own story. You’re invited to consider how God might be at work even in the parts of your life that feel confusing or unfinished.

Scriptures For The Week

Memory Verse

Read it once a day. Let it shape how you think and pray this week. Let it remind you that God can bring good even from difficult seasons.
“You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.”
Genesis 50:20 (NLT)
