FRIDAY | “O Holy Night”

Friday | “O Holy Night”

Friday, December 19, 2025

The last stanza of “O Holy Night” is a promise of hope, a longing for justice in the world, and an invitation to praise HIS holy name as The Lord of heaven and earth! Application of this powerful text will help ground us in the midst of a chaotic world, as we make ourselves available. Listen for HIS invitations for you. Consider how HE wants to arrive in your life this season.

Verse 3:
Truly He taught us to love on another;
His law is love and His gospel is peace.
Chains shall He break, for the slave is our brother,
and in His name all oppression shall cease.
Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we,
let all within us praise His holy name.
Christ is the Lord! O praise His name forever!
His pow’r and glory evermore proclaim!
