Reading For Wednesday | Psalm 100
“Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name.” — Psalm 100:4
Gratitude is the doorway to worship. When we remember all that God has done and all that He is—His faithfulness, His kindness, His provision—our hearts naturally respond in praise. Thankfulness helps us recognize God’s hand even in the smallest details of our lives. As humans, we forget so easily, especially during hard seasons. Remembering God’s goodness helps us trust Him more fully and stirs up desire to give Him the glory and honor He deserves.
Too often, we rush into worship distracted, burdened, or numb. But when we stop to recall God’s work in our lives, we can step into worship with awe and appreciation.
