Thursday | Press On - Faith Promise Week 2

Reading For Thursday | Philippians 3:10–12
Paul wrote, “I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me.” Before meeting Jesus, Paul “pressed on” in persecuting the church. After meeting Jesus, he redirected that same energy toward knowing Christ and becoming like Him.
The Christian life is not passive. It requires focus, perseverance, and daily surrender. We “press on” not to earn salvation, but because Christ already claimed us. Each act of obedience—each moment of generosity, each step of faith—is a reflection of the One who gave everything for us.

JOURNALING & REFLECTION
- What does it mean for you to “press on” in your faith right now?
- Where do you feel tempted to give up or grow complacent?
- Pray for endurance to pursue Jesus above everything else.
PRAYER PROMPT
“Lord, You know the areas where I feel like giving up. Meet me there with Your grace. Help me to trust that You’re still working, even when I can’t see progress. Teach me to keep pressing on, not in my own strength, but in Yours.”
