Tuesday | Leveraging What We Have For What Lasts - Faith Promise Week 1

Reading For Tuesday | Matthew 6:19–24 | Philippians 3:8–9

The good news is that, while everything else is “sand,” God allows us to leverage our resources for eternal purposes. Last year, our church family gave sacrificially so that thousands could hear the gospel and come to faith. Those gifts were not losses—they were investments in eternity.

Faith Promise giving is one of the ways we declare that Jesus is worth more than anything this world can offer. When we give, we are not losing; we are gaining more of Him.

JOURNALING & REFLECTION

REFLECT:

  • How can you use your resources—time, money, or abilities—to make Jesus known?

  • Are there comforts or luxuries you could release to invest in what lasts?

  • Pray that God would give you a joyful heart to give and to send others well.

PRAYER PROMPT

As you take a moment to pray, invite God to shape your heart around what truly lasts. Ask Him to help you see how your life and resources can point others to Jesus.

“Lord, show me where I’m holding too tightly to the things of this world. Teach me to release them with joy, trusting that You will use what I give to make Jesus known. Give me a generous heart that delights in seeing others come to faith.”
