Reading For Thursday | 1 Corinthians 12:7, 18

In 1 Corinthians 12:7, 18, Paul reminds us that each of us has been given spiritual gifts to serve the body of Christ. These gifts are not meant for our benefit alone, but are intended to be shared with others—contributing to the health and growth of the church community.

Take time to reflect on the unique gifts and talents God has entrusted to you. Consider how you can use these gifts to serve others—whether through teaching, hospitality, encouragement, or another area of ministry. Reflect on how your gifts can support the church’s mission and vision, and seek opportunities to serve in ways that align with your God-given strengths.

As you serve, remain open to the ways God is using you to bless others and build up the body of Christ. Encourage those around you to discover and use their gifts as well, fostering a spirit of service and collaboration within your community.

JOURNALING & REFLECTION

  • What spiritual gifts do you believe God has given you, and how can you use them to serve others?
  • What role do you see yourself playing in the body of Christ?
  • Consider signing up for Growth Track, where you can learn more about making a difference through serving and engaging with the community of our church family.

PRAYER PROMPT

Ask God to help you remain in His love and to show you simple ways to serve others this week.
