It’s about having an open-handed mindset—not just with your finances, but also with your time and resources—because everything ultimately comes from God. When you recognize that all you have belongs to Him, it becomes easier to give freely. You trust that the Provider of all things will continue to provide for you.

  • Would you consider yourself a generous person?
  • Do you freely give to those in need, or do you grumble?
  • Do you “count the cost” of being generous, or do you give willingly—without a second thought about how it might affect you later?
  • Do you wrestle with the idea that all things belong to God and that we are simply called to steward them?

“Lord, reveal to me your goodness and your ownership over all things in my life. Transform my heart to give generously—of my time, resources, and finances.”
