Activists gravitate toward meeting God in the messiness of confrontation and injustice. If there is a battle to be fought for what grieves the heart of God, activists will lead the charge.
JOURNALING & REFLECTION
Read the passage for today s-l-o-w-l-y. Enter into the scene in your mind. Allow a picture to form in your imagination. Imagine yourself as this woman. Sense the relational energy. What do you hear? How do people look? How do you feel? What is it like to be served by Jesus, the activist?
- Are there situations you experience regularly that you feel grieve the heart of God?
- What emotions surface in you when you are faced with such situations?
- How might God be inviting you to serve more intentionally out of the heart of an activist?
