It is helpful to remember some of the invitations from Scripture to pray for the Church. As you reflect on the words of the Apostle Paul and the example of Jesus in today’s reading, write your own version of prayer for the global Church. Include requests for revival and renewal, awakening, and spiritual power to love and help guide our culture. Pray that the Church would become a praying people! (Jeremiah 29:11-14).

• How might GOD use prayer as an avenue for strengthening HIS Church?
• In what ways do you imagine prayer as a doorway to loving and befriending people who are lost and living far from GOD?
• If you could write a letter to the Church, (like the Apostle Paul did so often,) what would you say to the Church about prayer, worship, Scripture, and the need for revival?
• In what ways does your letter inform your discipleship to Jesus, or invite you to a deeper life of prayer and abiding in Christ?
