INDIVIDUAL VALUE

THURSDAY, JUNE 5
READING: GENESIS 1:27
The Scripture for today shows God’s inexplicability on display.
The idea that someone can be cast aside because of an action and considered “less than” is, simply put, a lie. Scripture teaches that all of humanity, each individual, has a priceless value because of the image which they bear.
- He created us — each one in his image, both male and female bear his image.
- No human is without this signifier, this distinction of being different from all other created things.
- Each person has value.

JOURNALING QUESTIONS
Take some time to reflect and journal through the following questions:
- Am I living as Christ has called me to live, set apart and different from this world?
- Have I removed the value from someone to make it easier to remove them from my life?
- What part might I be playing in someone else’s story?
