WHAT TO BRING TO CAMP

BACKPACK WITH CLEARLY MARKED NAME
Please place your child's lunch box (with clearly marked name), water bottle and sunscreen in the backpack. No wheeled backpacks.
SUNSCREEN
Help your child apply sunscreen before they arrive. Please mark the bottle with your child's first and last name. Your child may keep their sunscreen with them.
WATER BOTTLE
Kids will receive a Compassion Kids water bottle on their first day at camp. Send it back with them each day. Water filling stations will be positioned around camp. Campers will be encouraged to keep their water bottle filled and to drink water throughout the day.
SHOES
All campers must wear closed-toe sneakers or sandals with a heel strap. Campers are required to wear shoes during activities and while at camp.
BATHING SUIT & TOWEL
Please include a dry towel on each water day (water days will be noted on the schedule you receive after registration). You may also want to include an empty plastic bag in your child's backpack to hold their wet swimsuits and towels. Girls are encouraged to wear 1-piece swimsuits or tankinis that cover their mid-section.
NUTRITIOUS LUNCH
Lunch is important. Kids are active at camp and they get hungry. Since we do not offer refrigeration, only non-perishable items should be packed in lunches unless reusable ice packs are included.  Please do not send any foods containing nuts. Kids Camp will be a nut-free zone for the safety of our campers with nut allergies.
MEDICATIONS
A nurse will be on-site to handle any medical needs that may arise. All prescription, over-the-counter medications along with inhalers or allergy pens need to be checked in at drop-off each day of camp and picked up the same day. Please do not pack medication with your child.
WHAT TO LEAVE AT HOME
  • Electronics, games, phones or music players
  • Any medication that is not provided to the medical staff
  • Candy
  • Personal sports equipment
  • Money or valuables
  • Toys
  • Flip-flops or open heeled sandals
  •  Weapons or any kind
