Compassion Christian Church values pouring into and equipping the next
generation. That’s why our Kids ministry hosts Parent and Child Dedication
each September. These dedication events are an incredible milestone for
families.

Parent and Child Dedication provides an opportunity for parents to publicly
declare their desire to raise their children in a way that pleases God. As
parents, creating a Christ-centered, healthy, and growing environment will lay
the foundation for your child's personal faith development allowing them to
choose Jesus as their personal savior when they are ready.

Before participating in Parent and Child Dedication, each parent or guardian is
required to watch a short video at home to learn what to expect on dedication
day, as well as what the dedication commitment entails.

Parent and Child Dedication will be held September 17 th at every campus. Dedication is not part of the weekend service, rather it is a separate event to celebrate the gift of parenthood and commit to raising your child in a
Christ- centered home. Compassion is also making a commitment to walk alongside parents through every stage of their parenting journey.

There is no fee to participate, but it is important to register! Click your campus below for times, locations and to sign up. Registration closes August 27th.

Not at all!! Most parents who participate in this ceremony are celebrating a newborn or preschool-age child. But, we understand that you may be new to Compassion or church in general. If you have a child of any age, it’s not too late to commit to raising them in a God-honoring home. If you have questions, our team would love to talk with you. Membership is not required; however, parents are making a commitment to raise their child in a God-honoring home. Church participation provides valuable support to families in upholding that commitment. As your church family, we are here to partner with and support you as you raise your child to know, love, and serve Jesus.
