2020 Summer Camps

For youth of all ages, read more information on our partnered events being held this summer! These camps are open to students from all over our campuses, and from all over the community; a seat at the table is open for all. Dates and location vary by age group.

Camps Update:

Great news!  We have confirmed that if any of our camps are cancelled due to the current threat of COVID-19, we will offer full refunds to you.

Camp in the City at East, Effingham and Henderson

For kids from all campuses entering grades 1-5 in the fall, Pine Cove is hosting a summer day camp, at our East, Effingham, and Henderson campuses. This day camp from June 22nd to June 26th is a place where your child will spend five days with some of the most fun and exciting college students in the country.

Campers will experience Jesus through Bible study, worship, and time with their counselor all while participating in tons of great camp activities. 

The total cost for the week is $290.

Elementary Camp at Statesboro

For Kids entering grades 1-5 in the fall, come be a part of the first ever “Camp Cawana” June 22nd through 26th!

This day camp will encourage your kids to be confident in who God has made them to be through exciting team games, creative activities, and times of worship.

Middle School Camp

Calling all students entering grades 6-8 in the fall, Compassion is hosting a summer camp designed specifically for middle school students. This five-day, overnight camp from July 6th through 10th will be held at Woodland Camp in Temple, Georgia.  

Campers will experience exciting worship, hear challenging talks, and engage in small group activities. They will also experience awesome large group games and competitions, along with the many recreational activities that Woodland Camp has to offer. 

The total cost for the week is $350.

High School Camp

For all students entering 9-12 grade in the fall and seniors who are 2020 graduates, CIY is hosting a summer camp specifically for high school students. This overnight camp from June 8-13 will be held at Milligan College in Johnson City, Tennessee.

By taking students out of their normal environment and all of the distractions that entails, students are given a unique opportunity to focus on what matters most: their relationship with God, His purpose for their lives, and the friendships that will help them pursue that purpose.

The total cost for the week is $375.

Scholarships

Scholarships are a great option for kids and students who would be unable to attend summer camps otherwise. If you are a family needing assistance in sending your kids or students to camp, please follow the link below. You will be notified of awarded scholarships two weeks after your application is completed.

The deadline to complete a scholarship application is May 1, 2020.

What do my kids and students need to bring to Middle School and High School Camps?
All of that information is included on the Middle School and High School packing lists.

Is there a dress code for Middle School or High School Camps?
Yes! You can find the dress code included within the Middle School and High School packing lists.

Where can I find the Printable Medication Form?

How do I serve at one of the camps?
To serve at Camp, contact your kids and/or student team at your campus. If you would like to volunteer at student check-in, please email Lee-Ann Callahan.

Do we have to pay the full price to register?
No! The only thing that is required for registration is the deposit. The final balance is due two weeks before your camp.

What are the payment deadlines?
All payments are due two weeks before camp. Elementary camp is due June 15, Middle School Camp is due June 22 and High School Camp payment is due May 25.

Is my deposit refundable?
No, your deposit is not refundable.

What is the cancellation policy?
Your deposit is non-refundable. All other cancellations must
be made two weeks before camp in order to receive a refund on your balance.

How do I make payments on my balance?
To make a payment on your balance, sign in to your giving account.

What if I don’t see previous payments on my account?
This happens when payments are made from different email addresses. To link your previous payments together, contact your kids and/or student team at your campus. Please note that payments for multiple children will automatically be split evenly. It is best to make each payment individually so you are able to designate specific students to each payment.

How can I make a payment by cash or check? 
Cash and check is available for all camps except Camp In The City.
All cash and/or check payments must be given directly to your kids and/or student team at your campus.
